The Impact You’ll Make

As a Technical Sourcer at Nextdoor, you’ll partner closely with Hiring Managers and our TA team to scale our technical teams. You will be a critical partner in building the growth and candidate engagement strategies that help us assemble and extend a world class team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely and cross-functionally with hiring managers and recruiters to assess recruiting needs, and understand job requirements
  • Build pipelines of qualified, high-caliber candidates using creative sourcing strategies
  • Strategize and evaluate a variety of ways to engage talent pipelines and execute on referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns
  • Source candidates and evaluate their experience, qualifications, and general alignment with employment opportunities at Nextdoor
  • Manage candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Track candidates through our ATS (Greenhouse) and leverage reporting capabilities to refine our approach to pipeline development
  • Effectively communicate the Nextdoor mission, culture and roadmap to a broad range of candidates, prospects and industry professionals

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • 1+ years of experience within Recruiting or HR preferred
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and great at building relationships with all different types of people
  • Passion for the Nextdoor mission and vision
  • Efficiency-minded: learn quickly and have a passion for process-improvement
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills: written, oral, in-person and on the phone
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency with Google Apps (Calendar, Docs, Mail, etc.)

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Recruiting Tools (Greenhouse ATS, Linkedin Recruiter, Gem) is a plus
