As a Technical Trainer, you should have a strong technical aptitude, extensive customer-facing and presentation experience, and be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for training and mentoring new and existing employees, as well as developing and maintaining a comprehensive training curriculum and a learning repository for the Professional Services Team. You will be joining a collaborative team of Managers, Implementation consultants,Technical Delivery Managers and Project Managers who are passionate about our customers, solutions, and products.Day-to-day

  • Conduct hands on technical training for Narvar Company employees, contractors, and/or SI’s 
  • Analyze the effectiveness of training to measure and/or improve quality of training through modifications
  • Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to determine certifications required, key focus areas and gather content for the creation of labs
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of internal processes and systems to provide system training on new features, enhancements, and changes
  • Provide support and mentoring to new employees during the onboarding process, while conducting ongoing evaluations
  • Create and maintain technical implementation guides that document play by play tasks necessary to implement Narvar products
  • Produce training schedules and agendas
  • Conduct presentations and webinars
  • Plan and direct training by designing an appropriate combination of classroom training, electronic learning,and other computer aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences and workshops
  • Provide consultative advice by reviewing industry best practices to ensure successful deployment of Narvar’s solutions while maximizing product value
  • Technical training content requires the candidate have sufficient knowledge to build and validate solutions via tooling and frontend technologies such as APIs, JSON, CSS, HTML, and Javascript
  • Partner cross-functionally with both internal and external technical and business stakeholders
  • Help achieve a best-in-class international professional services team via documentation, training materials, improvements, and staying up to date on product releases, new features and functionality

What we’re looking for

  • Must be an expert in creating and maintaining training documentation and labs
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience working with web technologies such as APIs, HTML, CSS, JSON and Javascript
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including exceptional presentation skills
  • Minimum 5 years technical experience as a technical trainer with ability to draft technical training guides and implementation playbooks
  • Bonus points for technical training experience on software platforms in verticals such as retail, e-commerce platforms, order management systems, inventory management, WMS, TMS, supply chain, or logistics
