Vice President, Marketing (Remote)

We are looking for a Vice President of Marketing to join our team! 

At Rescale, this means you will work on and impact:

• Leading the overall marketing strategy for Rescale by precisely evangelizing how Rescale is revolutionizing HPC in the Cloud.
• Driving business growth by defining our GTM strategy, and leading Rescale’a marketing engine with data-driven execution with a focus on pipeline development.
• Creating, innovating, and protecting Rescale’s end-to-end customer experience across all touch points.
• Leading and influencing the creative, design, content, communications, demand generation, product, and event marketing team.
• Championing our Social Media growth and influence.
• Building brand awareness and shaping market perception through global integrated campaigns in partnership with our Design and Corporate Communications teams.
• Providing ongoing tracking, measurement, KPI, and ROI analysis for the team’s marketing initiatives and campaigns to provide clear, actionable insights that inform and inspire communication for strategic calendar and brand initiatives.
• Planning marketing activities to support brand awareness, lead generation and nurturing, qualification, and ultimately new business opportunities.
• Defining metrics to support the company’s overall objectives and track progress.
• Collaborating with sales, engineering and product management teams to align messaging that impacts the success of the company

What we’re looking for:

• BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience driving the marketing strategy and inspiration in a SaaS, fast-paced, hyper-growth startup environment.
• Expertise in leading creative, design, content, communications, demand generation, product, and event marketing.
• Deep understanding of both traditional enterprise sales and SaaS sales models.
• Track record of success marketing to technical audiences.

About your team at Rescale and who you will work with:

• Manager: Your direct manager will be Rescale’s Chief Product Officer, Edward Hsu. Ed previously led Marketing and Product organizations at D2IQ/Mesosphere and VMware, and led engagements with executives in the high tech and IT operations industries at McKinsey. 
• Executives: You will work closely with our founders (Adam and Joris), Matt (SVP Global Sales), and other members of our exec team to drive a successful global marketing strategy.
