About this role
The Vice President of APAC Sales will lead and grow the regional revenue organization out of Singapore and report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer NY. This person is responsible for driving revenue developing go to market strategies, identifying and understanding regional trends.
The Vice President should be proficient in building and growing client relationships as a consultative partner, and a proven record of driving complex revenue growth as a passionate, driven player coach with market leading management skills.
They should have a broad background in media with a focus on digital sales, selling custom sponsorships and complex brand integrations. This person should have scaled revenue at a company with exceptional YOY growth along with great agency and direct to brand relationships. They should be experienced in hiring, mentoring and managing a high performance sales team and willing to get into the weeds to drive revenue.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of revenue growth and monetization strategies in the APAC territory
- Leverage existing senior level relationships and experience in selling to Fortune 500 advertisers and global digital media buying agencies
- Create vertical and account level strategies, develop sales team revenue goals and deliver ongoing revenue forecasts
- Act as player/coach and attend meetings with sales teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally to ensure campaign success and growth of partnerships, improve workflow, innovate product offerings, and execute on sales strategy
- Demonstrate leadership by bringing new ideas and solutions to the company
- Represent the company at various speaking engagements to Fandom as a leader in the marketplace
- Cultivate deep category expertise and understanding of marketplace dynamics to create scalable, client-centric and category strategies and solutions that utilize the full power of Fandom
Qualifications
- Proven track record to identify and drive opportunities for short- and long-term growth
- Strong experience in advertising/media sales with 10+ years of experience with an emphasis in digital sales.
- Outstanding leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong Relationships with senior level agency and clients
- Proven track record of driving revenue across multiple categories
- Demonstrated success driving significant revenue growth within new markets
- Experience building a multi-year strategic roadmap for category/business/function/region.
- Able to build a robust annual business/operating plan.
- Excellent communication, facilitating, and presentation skills
- High degree of organization, creativity, self-motivation, and drive
- Energetic leadership in the management of teams and co-workers
- Demonstrated success in attracting, recruiting and mentoring world class sales talent
- Understanding of digital advertising metrics and current industry trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including effective presentations
- Self Motivated with a willingness and comfort of working in a fast paced environment
