Engineer security improvements and maintain abuse prevention systems for the GitLab product. Maintain and extend a Ruby on Rails monolith, build detection rules for spam/AI/token/SEO abuse, expand agentic AI capabilities to reduce human-in-the-loop operations, collaborate with peer teams to harden platform defenses, automate detection and mitigation processes, and produce runbooks and operational documentation.
