Partners with engineering and finance leaders to manage cloud and AI infrastructure expenses, forecasting, annual planning, month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial modeling. Analyzes cloud billing and operational data, develops recommendations, automates finance workflows with AI tools, and communicates insights in GitLab’s distributed, asynchronous environment.

Lead IT-specific Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for ITGCs and ITACs: assess SOX readiness, maintain control documentation, run walkthroughs and remediation, coordinate internal/external auditors, review SOC reports and testing, and identify control automation and AI-related compliance risks.

Own and drive GitLab's external SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1), lead the reporting calendar and earnings process, improve disclosure quality and automate reporting workflows, maintain SOX controls, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, research technical accounting issues, and prepare/review journal entries, reconciliations, equity rollforwards, and EPS calculations.
