Provide embedded legal product counsel for Gusto's HR Apps portfolio: review product requirements, identify compliance risks, develop compliance artifacts for a rules engine, build processes and AI-driven tooling, monitor regulatory changes, handle customer escalations, and support vendor/integration review and terms drafting.

Lead financial services compliance for consumer and commercial products, payments, and embedded finance. Advise Product, Engineering, Legal, and business partners on regulatory requirements, build and scale compliance programs, run monitoring and control testing, manage vendor and banking partner oversight, and design AI-enabled compliance workflows to support regulatory change management, risk assessment, and remediation.

Own the AI-first product vision and roadmap for Legal & Compliance enterprise applications. Design and deliver generative-AI features, AI agents, MCPs, and integrations across CLM, matter management, e-signature, GRC, and e-discovery. Translate legal needs into secure, auditable solutions, govern AI lifecycle and controls, run vendor POCs, and drive adoption, metrics, and change management.
