Leads a team of enterprise Major Account Executives selling Benchling’s SaaS platform to large biotechnology companies. Responsibilities include recruiting and coaching sellers, generating pipeline, managing forecasts and account plans, developing executive relationships, guiding complex multi-stakeholder deals, and partnering cross-functionally to improve customer outcomes and go-to-market strategy.

The SMB Account Executive owns the full sales cycle for small biotech and life sciences customers, including prospecting, pipeline generation, forecasting, discovery, solution selling, stakeholder engagement, business-case development, negotiation, and closing. The role requires collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, accurate Salesforce management, and use of structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC. This hybrid position is intended for an early-career seller developing SaaS and life sciences sales expertise.

Drive new business within 1-3 top global accounts by generating 80% of pipeline, managing complex 7+ figure sales cycles, forecasting accurately, negotiating with multi-persona stakeholders (including CxOs), and collaborating with internal and external teams to align Benchling solutions to customer needs.
