Own the prioritization and roadmap for core infrastructure teams. Translate engineering constraints, customer needs, and business priorities into outcome-focused product direction; make trade-off decisions; define requirements; coordinate across organizations; measure reliability, cost, adoption, and developer productivity outcomes; and partner with Engineering, Finance, Security, and Procurement on cloud economics and infrastructure investments.

Own the direction and incremental delivery of Benchling’s Schemas platform, including schema types, computed fields, fieldsets, constraints, static properties, and data versioning. Understand customer workflows, develop personas and JTBD frameworks, and translate customer needs into platform capabilities. Oversee major quote-to-cash, pricing, packaging, and billing programs; improve operational throughput; partner with Finance, RevOps, Sales, People, Legal, and CX; and grow the team. The role requires deep Salesforce and CPQ expertise, multi-platform business applications leadership, integration practice management, SOX controls experience, and measurable automation outcomes.

Build developer-experience tooling and frameworks that streamline development, testing, packaging, and production releases. Lead release tooling designed to move code to production within 10 minutes, implement quality feedback loops, improve engineering workflows through user feedback, and promote effective engineering practices. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers while helping scale Benchling’s tools, processes, and engineering organization.

Owns revenue accounting and Order to Cash processes for a high-growth SaaS company, including deferred revenue, contract assets, allowances, contract modifications, professional services revenue, ASC 606 analyses, close activities, audits, and process automation. The role also develops accounting and reporting processes for consumption-based products and AI partnership economics, collaborates cross-functionally, coaches team members, and operates in a hybrid San Francisco environment.

Manage and configure Workday and the broader People technology stack, including performance, talent, time, absence, reporting, and analytics processes. Improve HR workflows, support audits and compliance requirements, resolve system tickets, and provide People data insights. Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, Security, Legal, Recruiting, and business leaders to implement scalable process improvements.

Manage a cross-functional SaaS pricing and packaging rollout across Systems, Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, Legal, and Deal Desk. The role ensures rollout milestones, stakeholder accountability, enablement materials, competitive intelligence, and decision-making are delivered clearly and on schedule.

Provides strategic and operational support to senior sales executives, including complex calendar and travel management, confidential correspondence, event and off-site planning, meeting coordination, presentations, expense tracking, sales pipeline logistics, interview scheduling, customer conference support, and cross-functional project execution. Lead product for Recipes, Assays, and Workflows on Benchling's Bioprocess and Analytical Sciences products. The Field Enablement Manager will manage the Docebo LMS, develop onboarding programs, create training content, and align learning strategies with Benchling's knowledge ecosystem.
