Serves as the strategic finance partner to Sales and Marketing leadership, driving profitable growth through commercial planning, scenario modeling, pricing, channel economics, customer profitability, forecasting, and resource allocation. The role oversees financial governance, risk management, sales performance, and executive reporting across a global, multi-channel go-to-market organization. It supports Ericsson’s ambition to scale its enterprise wireless business beyond $1 billion while improving revenue, margins, cash flow, and shareholder value.

Leads modem engineering strategy and execution for enterprise and industrial IoT products. Manages distributed engineering teams, workforce planning, hiring, contractors, resource allocation, and cross-functional delivery across firmware, hardware, platform, RF, validation, and test. Partners with product management, chipset vendors, ODMs, carriers, and suppliers on roadmaps, releases, certification, and commercialization. Establishes automation, validation, quality, and engineering excellence frameworks while addressing technical risks and developing engineering talent.

Conducts advanced research on future Wi-Fi technologies across PHY and MAC layers, develops simulator-based evaluations, and supports IEEE 802.11 standardization. The role evaluates proposals, coordinates with research and product stakeholders, represents Ericsson in standards organizations and industry engagements, and communicates technical findings. Strong wireless communications, signal processing, programming, simulation, and standards expertise are required, with international travel and collaboration across diverse teams.

Research spectrum regulations, sharing, coexistence, and requirements for 5G and 6G networks. Develop research strategies, simulations, technical proposals, and standards contributions for ITU-R, FCC, NTIA, and 3GPP. Evaluate proposals, coordinate positions across research and product teams, represent Ericsson in industry and regulatory meetings, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Own the end-to-end sales commissions process, including calculating and validating monthly payments, supporting incentive-plan configuration, maintaining compensation and quota data, and coordinating with Sales Operations and Payroll. Build Power BI dashboards and standardized or ad hoc reports for sales teams and executives, respond to commission inquiries, and use Excel, Xactly Incent, and AI tools to analyze data and improve reporting workflows.

Design, develop, and integrate 5G cellular modem modules into OpenWrt-based routers and gateways. Own end-to-end modem stack: kernel drivers (USB/PCIe), user-space daemons, network configuration, failover, throughput optimization, FOTA, and debugging across RF/baseband/driver/user-space. Collaborate on antenna validation and produce integration documentation.

Lead architecture and development of end-to-end modem and eSIM integration on OpenWrt platforms. Develop Linux kernel modem drivers, QMI/RMNET/AT stacks, LPA, secure element protocols, SM-DP+ provisioning, connection management, FOTA, carrier certification, CI/CD and HIL test frameworks, and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with carriers, eUICC vendors, and chipset partners.

Own end-to-end modem firmware architecture for LGA modules, lead software stack integration and upgrade strategy, define baseband and platform guidelines, align firmware, hardware, RF, and platform teams, manage chipset-partner relationships, resolve system-level issues, guide performance optimization, and influence 5G platform roadmaps. The role requires deep embedded modem expertise, strong C/C++ skills, system debugging experience, and technical leadership.
