Owns the architecture, optimization, and operations of SLURM workload orchestration across heterogeneous HPC and AI environments. The role manages scheduling policies, GPU resources, Kubernetes and container integrations, observability, automation, and multi-tenant performance. It resolves complex infrastructure and workload failures, leads global technical initiatives, establishes orchestration standards, and mentors engineers. The position bridges traditional scientific computing with cloud-native AI infrastructure across Roche’s research and engineering environments.

Conduct materials engineering and advanced microfabrication research for next-generation sequencing and molecular diagnostic systems. Design, fabricate, assemble, test, and troubleshoot microfluidic devices, fixtures, and instrumentation. Develop bonding and materials processes, optimize biochemical workflows, analyze system data, and maintain laboratory and fabrication equipment. The role requires Python-based instrument control, interdisciplinary collaboration, technical documentation, and invention disclosures.

Supports global product and brand strategy for sequencing software and analysis tools. Responsibilities include commercial product development, product launches, market and customer analysis, requirements prioritization, regional commercial support, positioning and messaging, marketing collateral, educational activities, and cross-functional collaboration.
