Build and maintain backend integrations, front-end monitoring views, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation for UAS systems. Ensure monitoring, security, and performance optimization while collaborating with hardware and software teams and documenting best practices.

Build production-grade, responsive web dashboards and reusable UI components (React/TypeScript) for autonomy datasets. Own major components, drive CI/CD and deployment (GitHub Actions, AWS), collaborate with systems/GNC/hardware teams, mentor engineers, support qualification/certification (DO-178C familiarity a plus), and influence technical roadmaps for defense/aerospace platforms.

Develop and maintain custom PX4 autopilot firmware, modify flight control algorithms, integrate sensors and payloads, build SITL/HITL simulation environments, configure cross-compilation and build pipelines, implement MAVLink/UART communications, support flight testing and system integration with companion computers and ROS2-based autonomy stacks.

Develop and test embedded firmware for UAS flight systems. Integrate sensors and processors, debug hardware/software issues using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, write real-time RTOS-based code in C/C++, perform flight test validation, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Lead system safety activities across the product lifecycle including safety architecture, FHA/FTA/SCFTA, hazard and risk management, and safety verification testing. Develop safety program plans, technical documentation, data collection frameworks, and test plans. Serve as primary customer interface for safety reviews (THAR, NNMSB), support milestone reviews, and drive corrective actions and compliance with MIL-STD-882E.

Design, build, and operate scalable hybrid compute infrastructure (cloud and on-prem) for large-scale autonomous vehicle simulations. Implement Kubernetes orchestration, job scheduling, CI/CD, IaC/GitOps, monitoring, networking, storage, and automation to support massive parallel simulation workloads and ML training. Collaborate with autonomy, ML, and robotics teams to optimize performance, reliability, and cost.
