The Business Development Director will manage and grow the Business Development Representative (BDR) team whose goal is to build the sales pipeline through scaling inbound qualification and outbound cadences. You will develop and implement the appropriate tech stack and best practices to support our lead generation engine while acting as a coach and mentor to our expanding team.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train and optimize a team of BDRs responsible for inbound and outbound sales engagements
- Refine the sales pitch and process to achieve optimal results
- Establish metrics and KPIs to help the team improve by understanding their performance
- Work closely with the Marketing team to manage inbound lead flow and track the efficiency of sales and marketing programs
- Oversee and evolve the tech stack of systems including Outreach, Apollo, Clearbit, etc.
- Work with Sales Ops to ensure proper lead routing and optimizing lead coverage and reporting
Requirements
- BA/BS University degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of B2B sales management experience leading a BDR/SDR team at a SaaS company
- Track record of success as a individual contributor BDR or outside sales experience
- Self-starter with proven success as a sales leader in a fast paced environment
- Experience with Enterprise, SaaS selling
- Ability to scale a team for 50%+ growth
- Experience with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Outreach, Sales Loft
- Experience within the mobile or digital advertising ecosystem a plus
