Business Operations, MBA Intern 

Business Operations works across functions (Operations, Product,  Member Experience, Risk, etc.) to drive growth of the business. We lead mission-critical, cross-functional efforts, deliver objective analysis and insights, incubate new roles, and execute on strategic initiatives. You may dig into winning new market segments, defining and launching new products, design business systems and processes to scale Chime, or unlocking new revenue opportunities.  Whatever it is, we work on what will move the needle most for Chime. If you like hard problems, are analytical, and like to collaborate, we want to hear from you!

This role is structured as a 3 month engagement. The starting hourly rate offered for this role and target level of experience will begin at $29 and up to $42. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Work on Chime’s top strategic priorities for Member Experience and Growth
  • Develop and execute cross-functional Business Operations to create and scale a world-class experience for our members.
  • Perform analyses and research that help us make the right growth decisions for Chime.
  • Design and implement business and operational processes that will enable Chime to scale effectively and efficiently.

To thrive in this role, you:       

  • Have experience working at a top tier management consulting firm; prior experience at a high-growth technology, payments, or FinTech startup a plus
  • Have razor sharp problem solving and analytical skills - Excel required; SQL a bonus.
  • Derive satisfaction and meaning by digging deep into the data, thinking from first principles, and answering big, ambiguous questions
  • Have experience working on large projects with cross-functional teams 
  • Are flexible and enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute on complex projects
  • Have a low ego and are comfortable working directly well with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Are currently enrolled in a top-tier MBA program.
