Instawork, a digital marketplace that connects local businesses with skilled hourly professionals across the U.S., is seeking a Compliance Specialist, HR and Payroll, with a proven track record of success to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to Payroll Manager, this role serves as a critical member of the Human Resources, Payroll team, and is responsible for managing all administrative aspects of labor and payroll compliance. This role requires reporting, tracking, mail administration and agency relationship management. This is a results-driven position that requires managing and responding to high volumes of government agency and partner letters.
Responsiblities
- Respond to Child Support Orders
- Unemployment Claims
- Workers Compensations
- Tax Levies
- Payroll Tax
- Employment Verification
- Create and maintain reporting calendar
- Help create a labor law notice compliance database
- Develop efficient and organized filing system
- Assist payroll with State regulations as needed
Who are you?
- 1 year of experience required
- Experience with G-Suite and MS Office
- Government Reporting experience
