The Data Analyst will collect and analyze datasets, create visualizations, collaborate with teams, and provide insights to improve business decisions.
We are seeking a Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to help drive informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, identifying trends, and presenting results to stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that support business goals.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and define KPIs.
- Develop and maintain data models, databases, and reporting systems.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance, processes, and decision-making.
- Document data processes and maintain up-to-date data dictionaries.
- Work closely with engineers to optimize data pipelines and improve data accessibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ETL tools or data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Familiarity with machine learning basics or predictive analytics.
- Knowledge of A/B testing, data modeling, or statistical forecasting.
- Certifications such as Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate or Microsoft Power BI Certification are a plus.
