Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Director of FP&A to join our team. You will play a crucial role in building a strong financial foundation for the market leader in site reality software and be responsible for creating and maintaining annual and long-range financial plans. We value initiative and proactively taking ownership of problems. 


Responsibilities

  • Be a proactive partner to the CFO and Executive team, identifying opportunities to drive growth and impact the business
  • Lead the annual and long-term planning processes
  • Own and maintain financial and revenue models
  • Build review packages and handle day-to-day activities related to forecasting/planning
  • Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis and forecasting meetings with business leaders
  • Develop reporting packages and dashboards of KPIs for senior leadership and the Board that analyze historical performance and provide actionable insights based on trends and industry benchmarks
  • Incorporate KPI reporting and analyses into ROI and spend models to guide investment decisions
  • Be a key member of the team that evaluates and executes M&A transactions
  • Collaborate with accounting to streamline financial close process and financial reporting
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
  • Be a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable systems to support business growth

Requirements

  • BBA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar discipline; MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years experience, with 3+ years at a high-growth SaaS company. Experience in investment banking is preferred.
  • Previous experience with forecasting, KPIs, and partnering cross-functionally with an emphasis on understanding the business context behind the numbers
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models; demonstrated proficiency with advanced functions (index, offsets, arrays, etc.). Ability to seamlessly work with Google Sheets is required.
  • Experience implementing and leveraging planning systems (e.g. Adaptive Insights) 
  • Bias for action and “can-do” attitude, with demonstrated ability to complete projects while managing multiple deadlines and internal customers
  • An ability to dive down into the weeds of the numbers with a high attention to detail, and to take a step back and see the big picture
  • Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator. Practices a service-oriented business partnering approach and excels in relationship building across the organization
  • A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives
