Position Overview:
The Director, Project Management, US, is responsible for leading the US Project Management team, accountable for project management excellence and process standards; a member of the Client Services Leadership team, responsible for building a scaling a US Project Management team, in partnership with the Director, Project Management, EU/APAC, to meet the expanding needs of Endpoint’s global business. The Director, Project Management, US, will coach and develop their teams to delight Endpoint customers with excellence in project management, expert consultation, relationship management and technical expertise, throughout the stages of project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees Endpoint’s US Project Management team, managing an extended organization of 40+ managers, project managers, and project coordinators.
- Directs US Project Management operations, establishing standards, processes and tools to ensure excellence in project delivery and client experience.
- In partnership with Director, Project Management EU/APAC, and Resourcing Management, ensure consistent, efficient project management capacity models and resourcing processes are in place to build, and manage, the team through high growth.
- Develops a strong team of people managers providing mentorship, coaching, and growth opportunities within the organization.
- Promotes a culture of accountability, ownership, high-performance and continuous improvement with a commitment to quality.
- Develops and tracks project management KPIs to measure and manage efficiencies, cost improvements, productivity, quality and profitability.
- Identify and drive process improvements initiatives across project management. Develop and implement project managements standards and competencies.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience
Experience:
- 10-15 years in leadership roles in the life sciences industry, preferably in IRT and supply chain management.
- Prior supervisory experience, including managing managers and multiple teams, required.
