Role Overview

DroneDeploy is seeking a mission-driven Director of Sales and Revenue Operations leader to drive full Go-To-Market funnel accountability across the revenue engine through the convergence of Sales, Marketing & Customer Success operations teams. The person who takes this role will be responsible for boosting go-to-market efficiency and enabling the company to accelerate growth.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with the C-suite to ensure that the organization is disciplined, efficient and scalable, and has the tools and resources necessary for success.
  • Partner on the refinement of evolving GTM strategy including across verticals, customer segments, and geographies.
  • Refine and standardize policies and processes across the organization to improve operational efficiency, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. 
  • Bring insights into discussions around broadening monetization of the products/services offered.
  • Guide the data architecture and source systems that comprise the internal GTM tech stack needed to support policies and processes 
  • Partner with GTM leadership to vet and validate results across the full go-to-market funnel to ensure alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Develop and manage the quota capacity model for all of GTM.
  • Partner with FP&A and the Data Insights teams to collaborate on financial plan inputs and outcomes tied to resource planning and growth.
  • Design compensation plans for GTM (including policies and procedures) that are competitive, compelling and in alignment with the company’s objectives and financial goals. 
  • Mentor and manage the people and teams that underpin all aspects of Revenue Operations.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to build, lead, right-size, and scale Sales and/or Revenue Operations functions for a Global team.
  • Experience at startups and public companies.
  • Strategic thinker able to formulate high-level strategy, tactical plans, and execute to those plans.
  • Track record of execution to optimize and drive growth.
  • Action and results-oriented, demonstrating a bias to action. 
  • Always meets commitments and sets appropriate expectations; known as tough but fair.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop and retain superstar-level talent.
