As Engineering Manager you will drive the evolution of the People.ai web application (Sales solution) to provide our customers (specifically their GTM teams) with data-driven guidance and actionable insights on how to better market, sell and serve their customers. Own and drive the Engineering plan for the Sales solution product line.
Responsibilities
- Drive the team to develop use cases that provide data-driven guidance and insights to different personas across GTM teams, with a focus on high quality product releases and key metrics like WAU. Build People.ai Web application as an indispensable tool for Sales Managers to provide insightful coaching to their teams.
- Develop a long-term architectural direction along with Staff engineers in the team for building a consistent and sticky application experience across multiple platforms (web, mobile) and notification mechanisms (email, web, IM, and more).
- Establish a focus on enabling all Engineering teams to deliver content to our customers.
- Create a set of APIs to empower multiple Engineering teams to deliver content through the app and multiple notifications channels (MS Teams, Slack, Mobile).
- Grow the Sales solution team; actively develop a leadership bench inside the team and bootstrap our mobile development function.
- Continue to evolve our software development process to ensure customer-centric development with Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering working together. Work with cross functional teams to ensure smooth launches and delivery of features.
Requirements
- Experience building a new product from scratch and taking it to Product Market Fit by working on small iterations, measuring success through usage KPIs, and adapting based on user feedback and those usage metrics. Experience shipping products with frequency (daily, weekly, monthly in an agile fashion)
- Demonstrate ability to design and build highly reusable APIs (both internal and customer-facing) and setting a long-term architectural direction to back them up.
- Experience and aptitude for growing and supporting strong engineering teams.
- Experience working with UI and Mobile development teams.
- Demonstrate ability to work cross functionally with peers from InfoSec, Privacy, Legal, Customer success/Technical success and other engineering teams.
