We’re seeking someone to join our Wealth Management Field Communications team as a Communications Associate to support the development and execution of internal field communications that drive awareness and engagement of programs and initiatives for Wealth Management Field employees.

In the Corporate Communications department, we cultivate and protect the Firm’s powerful global brand and reputation, leveraging our resources across media relations, internal communications, philanthropy and digital strategy to ensure we present the Firm consistently in all that we do. We provide editorial support and strategic guidance to business partners, and liaise with the Firm’s businesses and departments on communications matters. This is an Associate level position within our Communications Job Family which is primarily responsible for developing communications aimed at the Field Management, Financial Advisors and Support Professional in the field offices.

The WM Field Communications team provides comprehensive communication counsel, helping business partners develop and execute communication strategies, ensuring that messaging aligns with key business objectives. The team’s responsibilities include reviewing and editing internal communications, building and socializing communication plans, and facilitating the delivery of communications through various channels.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated communicator to build foundational experience, develop subject matter expertise, and become a trusted resource for internal stakeholders across the organization.
 

What you'll do in the role:

  • Develop and edit content for internal platforms and channels (e.g. articles, talking points, field notifications), delivering via a range of methods, including internal websites, direct emails, and leadership meetings

  • Ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency of communications to amplify strategic key messaging and broader business objectives

  • Maintain familiarity with the Wealth Management project portfolio and related release schedules to support communication planning and coordinated implementation of initiatives

  • Leverage AI, measurement tools and apply best practices to enhance processes, extend reach and readership, and improve delivery methods and frequency.

  • Partner with technology and key business stakeholders to quickly draft and distribute urgent communications

  • Collaborate on special projects including creating and maintaining reports and contributing to the overall Field communication strategy

  • Continually look for ways to meet and exceed key business priorities, factoring in team/department priorities

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with attention to tone, clarity, and detail

  • Strong interpersonal collaboration and team skills including working with cross-functional teams, proven flexibility, adaptability and reliability

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deliverables

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or within a team environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Comfort using AI tools and digital platforms to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

  • Familiarity with AP writing style

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Media, related field, or 5+ years equivalent writing or industry experience. General understanding of the Financial Service industry is a plus.
