About this role

Our People Team strives to create a welcoming and inclusive company culture by driving the overall employee experience at Faire. We are looking for a Head of Employee Experience to join our growing People Team. The ideal candidate has experience designing engagement programs, onboarding, building impactful and measurable DEIB programs and high emotional intelligence.

What you’ll do 

  • Lead a team that oversee all employee experience from the moment a candidate engages with us, to the time an employee becomes an alumni
  • Invest in scalable, intentionally designed and measurable programs to impact Faire’s culture
  • Ensure that all programming and employee engagement initiatives are rooted in Faire’s values, business goals and our desire to serve our community
  • Continue to build upon our current DEI roadmap with data-driven recommendations that improve both employee engagement and business performance 
  • Drive ERGs, programming and internal practices that are aligned with our overall DEIB strategy
  • Over time, help drive our internal communication and overall employee brand recognition

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 7+ years of employee experience, engagement and DEI related work experience including managing and leading teams
  • Ability to see “around corners” in order to drive high level strategy into programs that are measurable and impactful
  • Excited about the future of employee experience, the ideal candidate understands that DEI, values, and engagement are key to a successful organization
  • A passion for developing team members 
  • Experience using data to drive decision making
  • Superior organizational skills
  • The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • A willingness work autonomously - to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of personalities
  • Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to raise problems when necessary
  • Strong communicator with demonstrated experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally and strong attention to detail
