As Head of Growth Marketing, you’ll be responsible for acquiring new customers, growing engagement on the platform, and building a world-class function.  We’re looking for an expert growth marketing leader to develop and scale programs across multiple channels, while helping others succeed as an excellent cross functional collaborator and strong team manager. This role reports to the VP Marketing.  

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Lead strategy and execution to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention in partnership with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales. 
  • Develop and optimize campaigns and channel strategy across SEO, SEM, email, website, paid digital, and more.
  • Own marketing operations including the marketing tech stack, analytics, and reporting.
  • Lead, develop, and create a culture of testing and experimentation to innovate on how we drive business growth, acquisition, user engagement, churn reductions.
  • Set business growth goals with leadership; analyze and report on performance, impact, and insights. 
  • Plan and prioritize workstreams for multiple audiences in a strategic fashion to align with business goals and optimize results 
  • Hire, mange, and develop a strong, high performing growth marketing team, creating an environment that encourages personal growth and operational excellence. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 6-8 years of marketing experience with depth in B2B demand generation, growth, performance or lifecycle marketing experience in an Internet company. B2C experience is a big plus. 
  • Proven track record meeting and exceeding targets of increasing impact and scope
  • 1+ years of experience hiring and developing high-performing marketing teams; a respected people manager and team lead
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills 
  • Effective collaboration with multi-function teams and ability to champion new projects and ideas
  • Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to craft insights from complex data 
  • Knowledge and expertise with the marketing tech stack
  • Passionate about edtech and making a difference in education

For Colorado* based candidates - The range of our base salary cash compensation for this role for candidates living in Colorado is between $128,000-$150,000, final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. We offer a full, robust benefits package and stock options. Because Clever’s base compensation is driven by location, our recruiters will be happy to discuss a salary range for other locations during the interview process.
