ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Human Resources Operations Manager will be responsible for all administrative and transactional HR processes in the Americas (US and Canada). This will include but is not limited to payroll, statutory reporting, benefits administration, employee onboarding, employee relations, maintenance of the organization's HRIS, and other projects as required. You will be reporting to the Global Director, HR Operations who is based in Munich, Germany. This is a hybrid role, 2-3 days (Tuesday to Thursday) per week are required at our Frisco, TX office.


A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR HR OPERATIONS MANAGER, AMERICAS:

  • Manage and develop our HR Operations Team, Americas
  • Ensure that HR operations documentation and training are current; work with the team to develop and publish new resources (guides, instructions, how-to’s) to support HR policies, processes, and systems
  • You will be responsible for
    • The submission and auditing of bi-weekly payroll for the US and Canada
    • Benefits administration to include new enrollments, changes, termination, interfacing with vendors, and open enrollment
    • Compliance topics like statutory reporting and external payroll and pension audits are also part of your responsibility
  • You will partner with global staff throughout the organization to get input on HR decisions and ensure the delivery of high-quality HR processes
  • Demonstrating employee advocacy and develop a reputation as a neutral, approachable, and unbiased HR professional serving all employees and the organization
  • Staying current and informed on employment law and employment law trends
  • Auditing employee files to ensure they have completed all the proper documents
  • You will conduct effective internal investigations of sensitive matters, including complaints of discrimination, harassment/bullying, and policy violations and make recommendations to management based on findings
  • Full-cycle employee relationship management to include voluntary and involuntary terminations
  • Collaboration with Regional HR Directors and Global HR Business Partners on performance management implementation, employee engagement, culture, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and additional activities as needed
  • Other projects as required and assigned

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR, WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

5+ years of recent HR generalist (preferred) or HR Operations Manager experience with strong leadership and hands-on capabilities in payroll and benefits processing Employee Relations, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Regulatory Compliance.


The salary range for this role is {$120,000-$130,000). Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
