We are looking for a Implementation Engineer to help our customers build and launch the next generation of fintech products.


 At Synapse, our mission is to make financial products accessible to everybody. To that end, we provide APIs that help developers build and launch feature complete deposit, credit and crypto products in a matter of weeks. Developers can use Synapse to launch an entire banking product, including spinning up deposit accounts, issuing cards and sending payments. 

Technical Implementation Managers serve as the primary point of contact for Synapse’s customers as they implement our APIs. Their role is a unique blend of technical + project management + customer-facing responsibilities. They serve as the go-to project manager, technical advisor and in-house expert, and are an essential team member in bringing a fintech product to life.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact (and API expert) during the lifetime of their implementation (Post-Sale to Launch)
  • Interface with key stakeholders on our clients’ teams, including CTOs and CEOs.
  • Partner with internal partners (Compliance, Support, etc) and external partners (Card Printers, Networks, etc) to ensure all pieces of the implementation are progressing.
  • Develop clear and accurate project plans according to the customer’s desired functionality and target go-live date.
  • Manage the complexities of multi-step high-stakes projects with organization and efficiency and keen attention to deadlines
  • Anticipate and resolve any potential bottlenecks or issues that arise throughout the implementation

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience working in client facing role, preferably in a B2B software or FinTech environment.
  • Technical Background (ex: prior experience in a developer or engineering capacity)
  • Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Proven experience running high-stakes projects from inception to completion
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on Synapse's product knowledge
  • A drive to help democratize best in class financial products
  • An ability to work independently within a small, fast-paced team
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and unrelenting passion to deliver the best service possible
  • The ability to implement feedback, learn quickly, and contribute new ideas
  • A general concern for the wellbeing of others and the desire to work on problems that maximize a positive future for humanity
