The Position

Every breakthrough begins with a challenge. Every day, across Roche, our people work to improve health outcomes so that we all have more time with the people we love.

To achieve our ambitious goals, including delivering 20 transformative medicines by 2030, our employees need clear direction and meaningful engagement. That is where Global Internal Engagement comes in; we sit within Group Communications as one of the centres of excellence, responsible for the performance of all internal communications at Roche. Our mandate is to support a high-performing organisation by giving our 100,000+ employees the Clarity, Connection and Confidence to act. We help turn complex business priorities into clear, relevant and engaging internal communications that support Roche’s Ten Year Ambitions.

The Opportunity

Roche operates three central Internal Engagement Hubs: Pharma, Diagnostics and Corporate. These Hubs help align internal communications across the organisation, reduce duplication and information overload, and support more focused, strategic storytelling.

We are looking for a motivated intern to support the coordination and execution of key Global Internal Engagement activities across these Hubs. In this role, you will help maintain project information, support meeting preparation and follow up, contribute to campaign and editorial coordination, and support data and reporting activities. You will gain broad exposure to how global internal communications are planned, prioritised and executed in a complex healthcare organisation.

1. Hub operations and portfolio coordination

  • Support the maintenance of our global project portfolio on Monday.com, ensuring project information is accurate, up to date and easy to use.

  • Help prepare agendas, materials and follow ups for selected Hub meetings, Strategic Syncs and Quarterly Deep Dives.

  • Track actions, decisions and dependencies across agreed projects, helping Hub Leads and project owners stay aligned.

  • Help identify potential overlaps, timing conflicts or missing information across hub activities.

2. Campaign and editorial coordination

  • Work with Hub Leads and Editorial Leads to help map approved campaigns to the Global Editorial Calendar.

  • Support the execution of selected internal communications campaigns, including planning, coordination and follow up.

3. Data, insights and execution support

  • Support the rollout of the Interactive Audience Dashboard by helping collect, structure and summarise engagement metrics.

  • Help prepare simple performance summaries across channels, such as read rates, video views and event attendance.

  • Help with publishing campaigns across our internal channels

Who You Are

  • You communicate clearly and are confident following up with colleagues in a professional way.

  • You are comfortable working with digital tools and interested in using data to improve communication planning.

  • You are proactive, curious and willing to learn in a global environment.

  • Experience with Monday.com, Google Workspace, Excel or similar project management and collaboration tools is a plus.

What You Will Gain
  • Hands on experience in global internal communications at a leading healthcare company.

  • Exposure to strategic communication planning across Pharma, Diagnostics and Corporate functions.

  • Experience with portfolio coordination, editorial planning, campaign execution and communication measurement.

  • The opportunity to work with experienced communications professionals in a global and cross functional environment.
