About The Role

The Engineering group at JustAnswer is looking for an experienced and passionate global IT
Manager to join its team to enhance the IT team support, technical knowledge and efficiency.

As the IT Manager, you will lead and oversee JustAnswer’s global IT team to assure timely and
high quality support of our global offices and remote employees. This includes but is not limited
to IT services such as support of employee desktops/laptops, office productivity tools, vendor
management, asset management, help desk services, documentation, and process
development. This is a unique role for someone interested in furthering their career in IT.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be a member of the JustAnswer Engineering team
  • Managing the Global IT team
  • Work with the broader Technical Operations team and other leaders across JustAnswer to come up with creative solutions for optimizing and improving IT support and operational processes
  • Manage IT services such as Microsoft 365 which includes email, teams, MS Office, Software suite, enterprise anti-virus and patch management
  • Manage company communication regarding IT-related matters
  • Purchase IT related items and licenses
  • Asset tracking of equipment and licenses
  • Track monthly billing and code invoices with an eye towards cost savings and organizing payments to vendors.
  • Coordinate the computer and system account setup for and breakdown for employees and contractors.
  • Build career tracks for JustAnswer IT technicians-- making JustAnswer a great place to be in IT!
  • Build relationships with and between our international offices in Ukraine and India

Qualifications

Skills

  • 5+ years managing helpdesk and tech support teams for a global organization
  • You are passionate about making your team better and creating an environment of learning
  • You are humble, putting the success of the business and your IT staff first.
  • Experience supporting and managing a Microsoft centric network of windows desktops, laptops and Office 365 with a relatively small number of Apple Macintosh users
  • Experience supporting remote offices and remote employees
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects
  • Global enterprise Anti-virus and patch management experience
  • Corporate security
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience working with Atlassian Confluence
  • Experience with public and private cloud services
  • Experience with Sophos and Kaseya
  • Information Security experience
