Maintenance Technicians at Zeus Living are responsible for providing timely and effective fixes for issues that arise in our furnished homes in the San Francisco Bay area. Our homes range from single-family houses to apartments in professionally managed communities. As such, the types of maintenance issues that arise are varied in nature. We are looking for an adaptable problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our San Francisco area team.


The role will be full-time (40 hrs/week) with a schedule that includes at least one weekend day. The salary for this role is $60k - $70k depending on experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Basic maintenance work including:
  • Touch-up painting and light drywall repair
  • Plumbing work - unclogging drains or diagnosing leaks
  • Appliance repairs and diagnostics
  • Reseting electrical breakers
  • Changing light bulbs, changing batteries in smoke detectors and digital locks
  • Furniture repair and replacement from our warehouses
  • Inspect units between residents and deliver missing items
  • Supervise vendor appointments (HVAC, plumbers, internet/cable providers etc.)
  • General property upkeep including occasional trash removal, power washing, or weeding
  • Interact with residents, owners, and other property managers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Keep information up-to-date in our internal ticketing system so all teams have access to real-time resolution status

Would Be Great If You Know:

  • Basic Carpentry / Painting - drywall repair and painting
  • Knowledge of electrical and appliances - diagnose and correct power failures
  • Plumbing - snaking drains, removing clogs, fixing leaks
  • HVAC repair - installing portable ACs, fixing heaters, ACs, and thermostats

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure efficient and quality repairs
  • Great problem solving with the ability to understand and utilize all resources at hand
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • High level of professionalism and customer service as this role will be interacting with residents, owners, and external vendors
  • Ability to handle complaints & adversity with tact and diplomacy
  • Independent worker who can prioritize tasks with little supervision
  • Proficient with navigating different mobile apps like Slack and time tracking software
  • Must have reliable automobile transportation with a valid Driver’s License and insurance
