About the role: 

Altium is seeking a Marketing Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with Program Managers and project stakeholders to create copy for marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will have strong research, writing, and editing skills with a proven track record of delivering effective marketing copy. You can expect to work on multiple marketing programs at any given time in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that provides consistent feedback. An engineering background is preferred, but not required if a candidate has the drive to learn and write about the electronics design automation (EDA) industry.

 A day in the life of our {Job Title}

  • Collaborate with Marketing Program Managers and project stakeholders to create copy for marketing campaign deliverables
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Altium’s products and target audiences to ensure consistent messaging and tone
  • Write clear, consistent copy for a variety of marketing channels including landing pages, emails, websites, ads, social media, video scripts, etc
  • Gather feedback from project stakeholders and revise copy as needed
  • Document and maintain a repository of approved marketing messaging that can be utilized by other content creators at Altium

Who We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years experience writing marketing copy for software and/or SaaS products
  • The ability to distill complex engineering concepts into accurate, approachable copy
  • An engineering background is preferred but not required
  • Portfolio of writing samples, preferably with results from marketing campaigns
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize work on multiple programs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
