About the role

Chime is looking for a Member Insights Analyst Intern to join our OMX Reporting & Insights team. You will gain valuable professional experience working with cutting edge cloud technology platforms and distributed systems alongside engineers with a wealth of experience to share. This is an exciting opportunity to learn while playing a role in a critical initiative at Chime.

This role is structured as a 3 month engagement. The starting hourly rate offered for this role and target level of experience will begin at $34 and up to $50. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. 

In this role, you can expect to 

  • Perform in-depth analysis of 360 views of the member experience: NPS, member feedback, member contacts, etc. 
  • Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools for extracting, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets.
  • Collaborate extensively with product, engineering teams, and other key stakeholder groups, to transform insights into actionable recommendations for improving customer experience.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to various stakeholders, including leadership, through clear, compelling narratives and presentations.
  • Work on cross-functional projects, providing data-driven insights to support broader organizational strategies.
  • Explore opportunities for conducting advanced analytics to better understand customer behavior and preferences.

To thrive in this role, you 

  • Are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in a quantitative field like Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, MBA (with strong analytical background) or related disciplines. 
  • Have strong SQL querying skills and are familiar with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, adept at explaining complex data insights to a varied audience groups
  • Exhibit a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Show eagerness to learn and a strong interest in using data to understand and enhance customer experiences.
  • Are proactive, able to work independently and in collaborative team settings.
  • Have a passion for consumer FinTech and are eager to contribute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Display leadership potential, capable of handling multiple tasks and engaging in complex project work.
  • Are adaptable and flexible, ready to take on new challenges.
  • Maintain a low ego, open to learning and collaborating with a diverse team.
