Contracts are the most important unsolved problem in modern business. Every company, in every country, in every industry runs on contracts, but managing these contracts slows companies down and costs them millions of dollars.
At Ironclad, we’re reimagining contracts. We’re turning them from rate limiters on the business to accelerators. L’Oréal, Staples, MasterCard, and leading innovators use Ironclad to collaborate and negotiate on contracts, accelerate contracting while maintaining compliance, and turn contracts into critical carriers of operational business intelligence. We’re backed by leading investors like Accel, Sequoia, and BOND, and we’re a Fortune Great Place to Work.
We are open to hiring for this role in our San Francisco and Remote hubs.
About this role
Too often, legal teams are asked to do more with less. They are desperately in need of solutions that allow them to scale their skillset, especially when it comes to the traditionally high touch process that governs contract creation, negotiation, and approval.
Ironclad transforms contracts into workflows through automation. Workflows make contract creation easy, and help streamline coordination by translating real-world business processes into software. Workflow Designer is where the magic begins - it’s where our users build the logic behind their workflows.
Workflow Designer is consistently cited as one of the top reasons why customers love Ironclad, but we’re just getting started! We are looking for a PM for the Workflow Designer team to define the future of how legal teams create and control contracts through Ironclad. We have some really exciting projects ahead of us, and you’ll be joining a company of smart, driven, and low-ego teammates from places like Salesforce, Google, Dropbox, Palantir, DocuSign, Zendesk, and Harvard Law.

Responsibilities:
- Workflow Designer puts the power of complex contract design in the hands of actual users, not behind a highly trained services team. Building sophisticated digital contracting solutions in an intuitive, user-friendly way brings a lot of challenges and requires a high level of skill. You should be confident when tackling large, ambiguous challenges that come with industry-defining projects, and be able to create actionable tasks that move the needle
- The projects that we work on don’t stop at Workflow Designer; our team’s work touches every part of the product. You’re comfortable thinking through projects that impact large areas of the product while managing multiple stakeholders and dependencies
- Ironclad product teams are empowered to drive our own vision and strategy. You’re great at setting a longer-term vision for the team and backing it up with tactical product strategies (instead of waiting for top-down direction)
- Because Workflow Designer is such an integral part of the product, it receives a lot of feedback from our customers and internal teams. You know how to ask the right questions to find the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’, and are comfortable saying ‘no’ when required
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of product management experience
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Statistics or equivalent experience
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for talking to end-users and understanding their world
- Recognized as a collaborative and influential leader; a great partner to all functions
- Strong track record of owning end-to-end initiatives and launching impactful products
- Exceptional product sense and strategic thinking
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
Benefit & Perks:
- Competitive compensation
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401k
- Wellness reimbursement
- Take what you need vacation policy
- Generous parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers
Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
