Overview

The goal of the Product Operations Analyst is to enable Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) to delight customers by building tools and processes that help us stay organized, listen to customers, understand the market and make decisions, and clearly communicate about product vision, strategy, and features.

About the team

The Product team comprises of Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers and Product Strategy & Operations Managers. This team works very closely with both Engineering & Design, and Go-to-market, to realize our vision of bringing high quality products to our users.

Responsibilities

  • Own our system for storing the market/customer signals that come into the company every day across all our teams. This includes, but is not limited to sales dealbreakers, user feedback, NPS scores, churn reasons, support tickets, and community posts.
  • Organize and simplify how we store and communicate about research, project proposals, and technical and UI designs.
  • Manage the tools and processes for communication on behalf of EPD. Example - make sure the internal product roadmap is up-to-date and the go-to-market (GTM) teams know where they can self-serve on answers about product.
  • Build and maintain the EPD metrics dashboard. This will require building reporting in Mixpanel and pulling data from BigQuery into Google Sheets for things like data center costs and billing details.
  • Design simple, light-weight processes to enable EPD teams by working with other departments to get information or support that EPD needs, while also understanding what they need from EPD.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years project management or operational experience at a fast-paced startup or a consulting firm.
  • Deep analytical mindset and look at merging quantitative date with qualitative inputs to inform well-baked analyses.
  • Systems thinking: you can design processes that are lightweight, simple, self-reinforcing, and make life easier for everyone.
  • Excellent project and program management skills with a track record of leading and proactively managing end-to-end execution of projects/programs.
  • You can establish trust and alignment working with cross-functional teams.
  • Synthesis and clear communication: you can present content so that it is clear and relevant to the target audience.
