About the role
As Program Manager, Bank Partnerships, you will be responsible for overseeing the Bank Partnership teams engagement model with Chime’s bank partners. You will be responsible for prioritizing the operating cadence with our bank partners as well as leading the delivery of our bank partners operational workstreams. This is a critical new role on our team that will help us prioritize our business goals and drive cross-functional execution and accountability. You will work closely with our Strategic Partnership Managers, and report to Chime’s Sr. Director of Bank Partnerships and Strategy.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680 and up to $144,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
- Lead the Bank Partnerships engagement model with each of Chime’s bank partners
- Manage the pipeline of outstanding deliverables with each bank to ensure we meet our business KPIs
- Maintain operational and communication cadence with both bank partners to oversee the engagement model and ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
- Execute against critical bank operational deliverables including Tax Season, Third Party vendor onboarding, bank due diligence, and incident resolution
- Develop strong working relationships with Chime’s bank partners as well as key Chime stakeholders including Product, Compliance, Legal, Vendor Management, and Member Experience
To thrive in this role, you have
- Expertise in the banking market and competitive landscape
- Have familiarity with the regulatory landscape in banking, fintech, and financial services
- Have strong project management and relationship building skills to drive resolution of complex and challenging topics
- Have a proven track record of driving alignment across multiple stakeholders, with the ability to manage diverse perspectives and goals in order to reach resolution
- Have a low ego and a knack for collaborating with a wide variety of people
- Have 5+ years of work experience, including:
- Project management experience
- Experience at a regulated Financial Services company
- Experience working at or with a high growth Fintech startup
- Experience in consumer banking or payment services
