Job Summary

The Sales Operations Manager drives operational efficiency, sales strategy execution, and business performance for the Commercial Expansion Team — the group responsible for SharkNinja's US and Canadian distributor business and downstream retailer, e-tailer, and dealer partners. This is a hands-on, analytical role: you'll own forecasting, inventory, and trade spend rigor while building strong working relationships with distributor replenishment teams. Success requires someone who's comfortable owning ambiguous, under-resourced processes and building the systems and cadences that don't yet exist.

Key Accountabilities

POS and shipment forecasting  ·  inventory management  ·  purchase order execution  ·  POS and trend analysis  ·  trade spend forecasting and management

Responsibilities

Forecasting & Planning

  • Manage assortment, forecast, pricing, and promotions at the SKU level within the internal forecasting tool
  • Create and present a monthly rolling forecast consensus presentation to cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Partner with demand planning, supply planning, channel management, and sales on forecasting, inventory planning, order management, and supply chain execution
  • Coordinate distributor domestic and import order timing with supply chain, aligning on planning and availability dates

Performance Reporting & Analysis

  • Build and maintain sales dashboards and reports tracking sales performance, promotional efficiency, and trade spend
  • Deliver weekly shipment and POS recaps with insights and recommendations for the sales team
  • Lead weekly business reviews with distributor replenishment teams, evaluating performance against benchmarks and identifying the drivers behind sales gains or shortfalls
  • Provide a monthly financial update with deep-dive analysis on key operational and sales performance metrics

Trade Spend & Customer Engagement

  • Partner with the Sales Director on trade spend management, including event creation, spend tracking, and chargeback reconciliation
  • Partner with the Sales Director and Account Managers to build customer presentations, monthly business reviews, and weekly flash reports
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years in buying, planning, sales operations, or sales management, ideally in consumer products or wholesale/distributor channels
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; comfortable building and maintaining forecasting models and dashboards
  • Working proficiency in PowerPoint for building leadership- and customer-facing presentations
  • Clear written and verbal communicator, comfortable presenting to both internal leadership and external customer teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort operating independently with limited hand-holding
Preferred
  • Experience working with distributor or wholesale channel partners (rather than only direct retail accounts)
  • Familiarity with EDI/POS reporting tools and ERP or forecasting systems
