About the Team
The Revenue Operations team at MixPanel partners with Sales Leadership to help set and execute global and regional revenue strategies. We build and execute core operational processes, facilitate key decision making, support ongoing business operations management, and provide the right systems and tools to make our Sales team successful!
About the Role
As a Salesforce Architect / Developer, you will help drive success of the Sales team by enabling powerful systems and tooling support for their business processes. You will be a strategic partner to stakeholder teams, supporting the overall tooling strategy to deliver game-changing capabilities for Sales. This is a critical role for MixPanel at this stage of our growth, with direct impact on ability to meet our revenue goals.
Key areas of responsibility
- SME (subject matter expert) in architecture, administration, and development for all details needed to support the Salesforce implementation
- Responsibility for the application design, development, and support of Salesforce-related projects
- Develop a deep understanding of business needs of stakeholder teams, then translate those needs into technical requirements and work cross-functionally to deliver projects through implementation
- Function as a strategic thought partner for stakeholders on potential process / system changes to better enable Sales teams
- Manage deliverables due and develop needed processes and changes with the affected business departments and cross-functional partners
- Help develop and execute system testing; create test cases, develop and execute test plans, and facilitate the user acceptance testing effort within impacted teams
- Ensure all cross-functional output requirements are considered – reports, data feeds to other systems, etc
- Develop post-implementation performance metrics
- Work with Integration/departments/customer and vendor support organization as needed for problem resolution
- Monitor Salesforce release updates and evaluate company readiness to implement release updates and execute on the adoption of said changes
- Assist and be available for maintenance updates as needed
- Assist with data loads as needed for go-live and future integrations
- Assist with training as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science field or a combination of IT and business with related experience and education
- Seasoned Salesforce Implementation experience in end-to-end CRM, Sales, and Finance integrations
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Certified Salesforce Platform Developer
- Certified Salesforce ADM201
- Proficiency in programming using Salesforce SFDC, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions.
- Strong experience with configuration, customization programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com from scratch
- Ability to define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a CRM solution
- Should be a creative, self-starting, fast learning, detail-oriented team player who thrives with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data cleanse & data enrichment projects
Bonus points if you:
- Start-up SaaS and rapidly expanding sales organization experience strongly preferred
- Proficient with databases, analytical tools and Excel functionality
- Experience with Marketo, lead routing, territory management and tools
- Have experience with Steelbrick CPQ
