Wage: $151,736 - $185,100 / per year*

 

 

Job Duties: Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Work on our Financial Crimes - Insights team that employs techniques & tools to produce actionable insights from Chime Data that can be explored by management and investigators to identify and examine anomalies in line with Financial Crimes. This team analyzes emerging money-laundering and Identity risk threats, develops data-driven insights, and executes on complex, technical roadmaps to mitigate the risk of financial crimes to Chime and Chime’s members. Specifically, this position will play a key role in KYC analytics and in reducing, capturing synthetic identity and identity theft. Build relevant dashboards, metrics, KPIs and KRIs. Leverage expertise to develop ongoing logic for Synthetic Identity Risk mitigation and evaluation. Develop insights to quickly source, analyze, and deduce root cause consistently and accurately across the Chime Platform. Identify areas to improve Pass Rate for good members while blocking synthetic identities. Optimize existing Synth ID detection rules and algorithms to reduce false positives and recommend enhancements. Compare actual key risk metrics performance and answer ad-hoc performance-related requests from the risk team. Maintain portfolio performance-related data tables and looker views. Identify key variables that determine identity risk, create dashboards, and monitor performance across these dimensions. Build models that automate capture of Financial Crimes in collaboration with Data Science and Machine Learning teams. Identify opportunities to enhance polices and monitoring activities and ensure timely execution on deliverables. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Financial Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a financial analytics-related occupation.

Special Requirements: Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:

 

  1. Using SQL for analyzing financial data;
  2. Using Python for performing statistical analyses or experimentation;
  3. Creating dashboards and financial data analytics.

 

*The starting base salary range for this role is reflected above. Salary is one part of Chime’s competitive package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
