About the role: 

As Senior Commercial Contracts and Compliance Manager, your responsibilities will range from admin to strategic, as you work with staff and clients to manage the drafting, review, approval and execution of all pre-sales documentation. Altium is a fast-paced commercial sales environment, where enthusiasm, self-motivation, and technical skills will help you thrive. This position reports to the Revenue Operations SVP and Group General Counsel.

 A day in the life of our Senior Commercial Contracts & Compliance Manager

  • Coordinate the drafting, review, approval and execution of all pre-sales documentation with Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and HR stakeholders
  • Coordinate the response to customer pre-sales questionnaires pertaining to ESG requirements, Representation and Certification, Supplier Codes of Conduct, and similar
  • Prepare commercial risk assessments and produce briefings to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Educate and support sales personnel on the process for managing pre-sales agreements that adhere to Altium’s policies
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and automate processes 
  • Enforce process controls to verify contract documents are approved in accordance with Altium’s processes
  • Responsible for timely processing of contract activities
  • Implement a process for tracking and reporting the current state of all agreements and maintain a centralized repository of legal and supporting documents

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in contract management, finance, business or related field 
  • 5+ years in sales, contract development, procurement, risk management, legal operations, finance operations, or a combination 
  • Familiarity with legal requirements pertaining to contracts
  • Experience in the high-tech commercial market and working with Federal Government procurement requirements is strongly preferred
  • Advanced working knowledge of Salesforce, Google Suite, Adobe, and contract management applications required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret contracts and proposal language
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and values, including the ability to maintain strict confidentiality 
  • Great attention to detail, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

The salary range for this role is {$94,000- $130,000}. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
