Position:  Senior Credit Risk Analyst, Lending

 

Work location: 101 California Street, Suite 500, San Francisco, CA 94111 United States

 

Wage: $118,100 - $184,500 / per year*

 

 

Job Duties:  Develop risk policies and strategies for lending products. Work closely with product, data engineering, machine learning, and analytics teams and will interact with business stakeholders across many departments. Responsible for the risk performance of our various lending products. Develop credit policies from the ground up for new lending products and continuously iterate to improve credit product approval criteria, line assignment and pricing strategies, including renewals. Collaborate with various data teams to build data infrastructure and establish reporting dashboards that will help senior management understand credit risk trends and exposures. Leverage external and internal Chime data to build credit models and policies in partnership with our Data Science team. Work with cross functional teams across the company (including core banking) to measure the impact of lending products on their businesses and provide analyses as needed. Advise and mentor analysts throughout the organization with a focus on information-based strategy. Telecommuting is permitted.

 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Finance or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or credit analytics experience in Financial Services.

Special Requirements: Position requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills: (1) risk strategy of credit products, including loans, lines of credit, or credit cards; (2) SQL programming; (3) Python, R, or SAS; (4) Looker or other business intelligence tools; and (5) implementing credit risk strategies or polices.

 

*The starting base salary range for this role is reflected above. Salary is one part of Chime’s competitive package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
