Job Description

As a Senior HRBP Manager, Finance & Strategy, you are a business leader who specializes in building and enabling high-performing organizations. You'll immerse yourself in the business to understand strategic priorities, operating models, and future growth plans, then translate those insights into workforce strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.

What sets this role apart is how you'll think about the future of work. As ServiceNow continues to lead in the AI era, you'll partner with Finance & Strategy leaders to redesign how work gets done, helping determine where AI can augment work, where human capabilities create the greatest value, and how organizational structures must evolve to support future business success.

You'll serve as a trusted thought partner to Finance & Strategy leadership, using a combination of business acumen, workforce planning, organizational design, change management, and talent expertise to help shape the future of the organization. This role requires someone who can move fluidly between strategic planning and execution, influence senior leaders, and help drive transformation at scale.

You'll partner with leaders to understand how AI is changing work across Finance & Strategy, helping them rethink workflows, operating models, and talent strategies to prepare for what comes next. You'll advise leaders on how work should evolve, where AI can create leverage, how roles and teams may change over time, and what skills and capabilities will be required to succeed in an AI-first environment.

You will serve as a strategic HR Business Partner focused on Finance & Strategy and play a critical role in shaping the future workforce, operating models, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness of the function.

What You Get to Do in This Role

  • Immerse yourself in the Finance & Strategy organization to understand strategic priorities, business challenges, and operating objectives. Partner with leaders to translate business goals into actionable workforce, talent, and organizational strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping them navigate growth, transformation, organizational design, talent decisions, and evolving workforce needs.
  • Partner with leaders to assess how AI, automation, and emerging technologies are changing the way work is performed. Help identify opportunities to redesign workflows, optimize operating models, and reimagine how work is shared between humans and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Drive workforce planning efforts by anticipating future capability needs, identifying skill gaps, developing succession plans, and building strategies that position the organization for long-term success.
  • Lead annual talent processes including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, calibrations, leadership assessments, and development planning with a consistent and equitable approach.
  • Analyze people and business data to identify trends, organizational risks, and opportunities related to engagement, performance, retention, productivity, and workforce readiness. Develop recommendations and action plans informed by data and business insights.
  • Partner closely with Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Learning & Development, and other Centers of Excellence to deliver scalable solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Influence leaders through change and transformation initiatives, helping teams adopt new ways of working and ensuring organizational change is effectively embedded and sustained.
  • Advise leaders on organizational structure, role design, team effectiveness, and operating model evolution. Help leaders think strategically about future-state organizations and the capabilities required to support them.
  • Help shape a modern, AI-forward HR function by contributing to innovative people practices, talent strategies, and operating models that can scale across the enterprise.
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture where employees feel engaged, supported, and empowered to deliver meaningful business impact.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges and drive workforce and organizational strategies.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to think and operate like a business leader, balancing people, operational, and financial considerations.
  • Experience leading large-scale organizational transformation, operating model redesign, workforce modernization, or strategic change initiatives.
  • Understanding of how AI is transforming work, workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy, with the ability to guide leaders through these changes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage people analytics and business data to identify trends, make recommendations, and influence decisions.
  • Exceptional influence and change-management capabilities, with a proven ability to drive adoption and behavioral change across organizations.
  • Experience supporting Finance, Strategy, Corporate Functions, Business Operations, or other highly analytical business organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, organizational effectiveness, workforce transformation, or change management environments is highly valued.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Outstanding relationship-building, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in large, complex, matrixed organizations and successfully navigating multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping leaders create clarity in rapidly changing environments.
  • Courage to challenge respectfully, ask difficult questions, and influence decisions through thoughtful insights, data, and business perspective.
  • 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, strategy, operations, consulting, or a related business function.
