About the Role

The Strategic Initiatives team leads mission critical, cross-functional initiatives in service of driving Chime’s growth and developing and scaling exceptional member experience. We deliver objective analysis and insights, incubate new roles, and execute on strategic priorities. In this role, you may dig into helping us unlock new revenue opportunities, improve key user experiences, or evaluate and improve core business processes. Whatever it is, we work on what will move the needle most for Chime. If you thrive when tackling hard problems, are analytical, and like to collaborate, we want to hear from you.

For Colorado based roles: In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $170,000 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to 

  • Identify, analyze, and deploy strategic opportunities to drive Chime’s growth
  • Lead and carry out cross-functional strategic initiatives sponsored by Chime senior executives across risk, customer support, marketing, business development, and other teams
  • Define and implement key business processes to enable Chime to operate efficiently at scale
  • Deeply understand core company metrics and convert insights on their performance into actionable initiatives
  • Influence decisions by providing thought leadership and building consensus through collaboration across a multitude of senior leaders
  • Persuasively communicate your recommendations and lead discussions with senior leaders

To thrive in this role, you have

  • Are adept in bringing clear and logical structure to ambiguous questions
  • Are highly analytical and think from first principles
  • Are driven by results and enjoy doing whatever it takes to deliver on complex projects
  • Have demonstrated ability to develop and lead end to end cross-functional operational and strategic initiatives with key partners at the senior executive level
  • Have a low ego and have a flair for collaborating with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization
  • Have the ability to distill complex analysis into clear executive level communications
  • Have at least 10-12 years of work experience, including:
  • Delivering projects at the Project Leader/Case Team Leader/Engagement Manager level or above at a top-tier management consulting firm
  • Working within a high-growth startup (fintech experience a plus)
