Clever’s recruiting team is a collaborative team of talent professionals who identify, assess, and help hire people who are passionate about improving the lives of K-12 students and teachers. As Clever scales, we are hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to help us achieve our ambitious technical hiring goals for 2021/22 and beyond.
Reporting to the Head of Recruiting, this role is high-visibility and includes owning the technical recruiting process from end-to-end. You’ll partner directly with Clever’s Engineering and Product leadership to create an exceptional hiring experience, from creative sourcing and initial candidate engagement through hire and onboarding, with seamless collaboration between hiring managers and the People Ops team throughout.
In addition to achieving our technical hiring goals, this role also includes the opportunity to define structure and process, partner with stakeholders to implement DE&I strategies, and to own meaningful projects that further the team’s strategy and impact. A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Manage the full-cycle engineering recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiations
- Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and serve as a talent consultant and strategic partner through a search
- Collaborate with hiring managers on writing technical job descriptions that generate excitement and interest
- Operate as a talent sleuth, identifying passive and diverse technical talent from a variety of creative sources
- Serve as a partner and guide for candidates throughout the recruiting process, deeply understanding the unique motivations, interests and needs of each candidate
- Identify and scope strategic initiatives to meet technical hiring goals and align to company and team priorities
- Analyze key recruiting metrics and talent market data to guide your work and drive strategic conversations with business partners
- Implement a lens of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the recruiting process
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 4+ years in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in a high-growth tech environment
- Experience working with engineering teams, with in depth knowledge of technical recruiting practices and technology stacks
- Strong sourcing skills with a track record of converting passive candidates to hires
- Experience using key recruiting tools and recruiting talent marketing channels: ATS (we use Greenhouse), LinkedIn, social media, and job boards, etc.
- Data driven with the ability to use data in support of making informed hiring decisions
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and motivating desire to collaborate, build strong partnerships, and mentor others

For Colorado* based candidates - The range of our base salary cash compensation for this role for candidates living in Colorado is between $105,000-$125,000. Final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. We offer a full robust benefits package and stock options. Because Clever’s base compensation is driven by location, our recruiters will be happy to discuss a salary range for other locations during the interview process.
