Position Overview:
The Software Development Intern (reporting to the Senior Development Manager, Product Engineering) will work on designing and developing software in accordance with industry standard best practices in an agile environment, under direction of senior software developers. This position is available starting mid-August and will last 12 weeks. Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in feature analysis and software design sessions.
- As a part of sprint team, develops new features and fixes defects, as assigned.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Present their work to sprint team and stakeholders in sprint demos.
- Work on other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- College level student enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree program
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Project work developing software modules in C# is preferred
Required Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail with focus on code quality
- Good communication skills
- Attentive listening skills
- Ability to work virtually/off-site
