As a Software Engineer at Lob, you’ll contribute to several applications related to Partner Experience using primarily Node.js, Typescript, and Vue.js.  You’ll work in a Service-Oriented Architecture with resources on AWS, leveraging SQS queues and Lambda functions.  We maintain a culture of high collaboration, psychological safety and performance where individuals can thrive and gain meaningful experience to elevate their career potential.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll…

<li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of both backend and frontend applications;</li>
<li>Collaborate with other engineers to develop solutions for business cases; </li>
<li>Collaborate with product and business partners to understand the problems we’re trying to solve;</li>
<li>Write documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>
</ul>
What will you bring to this role…
<ul>
<li>1-3 years of experience working as a Software Engineer</li>
<li>Experience working with Node, Go, Vue, or similar programming languages.</li>
<li>Experience working with APIs, either through the integration with external APIs or the development of internal APIs</li>
<li>Experience working with relational databases, such as Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL.</li>
<li>Experience working with source-code control, in particular Git and Github.</li>
<li>Experience working with unit and automated testing frameworks is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience writing documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.</li>
</ul>

Compensation information
CA/NYC Tier
Base: $120,000 - $145,000
US Tier
Base: $112,500 - $137,500
