Sr. Financial Analyst

About the Role:We are looking to add an analytical and system savvy Supply Chain Finance Analyst or Senior Analyst (depending on level of experience) who will work closely with our accounting, finance, and supply chain teams. This role will play an integral role to manage all aspects of inventory and cost accounting. This person is also a key player in assisting the Accounting team with month-end closing and account reconciliations, audit, and any ad hoc projects as needed.What You'll Do:

• Partner with the supply chain team to analyze costs of raw materials and other supplies and create cost-benefit analyses for changing vendors
• Partner with FP&A and supply chain on inventory forecasting and demand planning
• Assist with process documentation and development of internal controls over financial reporting for supply chain
• Reconcile inventory balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Conduct inventory reserve analysis on a quarterly basis and communicate findings to management
• Assist with monthly inventory and cost of goods sold (“COGS”) fluctuation analyses and COGS related accruals
• Assist with ad hoc margin analysis, warranty calculations, and tracking refurbishment costs
• Work with Supply Chain team to calculate in-transit inventory and assist with management of PO and supplier invoicing
• Generate PPV reports, analyze findings and communicate to management
• Establish standard costs and update them as appropriate
• Identify any process gaps or suggest process improvements for areas of responsibility, and communicate to management 

What We're Looking For:

• Supply Chain, Finance and/or Accounting experience preferred at a hardware company
• MS Office and Google Docs proficiency preferred, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs and Sheets
• Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, and 3rd party warehousing systems preferred
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with other teams, and with management
