About the Role:
As a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) at Altium, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing and sales efforts by creating and delivering technical marketing materials and presenting Altium Designer to customers and partners.
Examples of technical marketing content that a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) is responsible for creating or contributing include:
● Product demos and presentations,
● Technical white papers and case studies,
● User manuals and other technical documentation,
● Technical articles and blog posts,
● Webinars and other online educational content,
● Sales and marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, data sheets),
● Product videos and tutorials,
● Social media posts and other online content,
● Training materials and workshops
A Day in the Life of Our Technical Marketing Engineer:
● Preparing technical marketing materials
● Collaborating with the marketing & sales team on product development and campaign strategies
● Review marketing assets before release to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and brand
● Edit, proofread and improve existing content and copy
● Staying up-to-date with the latest Altium Designer features
● Research industry-related (hot) topics
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
● At least 5 years experience as a technical marketing engineer in a related industry
●. Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics (or related field) or work experience as an electronics engineer
● Good understanding of Altium's software products, including Altium Designer
● Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
● Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation
● Experience with content creation, including creating technical articles, blog posts, videos, and other online content
● Ability to deliver technical presentations to technical audiences
● Ability to provide technical support and training to customers and partners
● Good organizational and time management skills.
● Understanding of electronics and experience working as an electronic engineer is a plus
The salary range for this role is $80 000-$130 000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
