ABOUT RETOOL
Nearly every company in the world runs on custom software for critical operations like tracking performance metrics, handling support workflows, building admin dashboards, and countless processes you might never have thought of. But most companies don't have the resources to properly invest in these tools, leading to a lot of old, clunky internal software, or worse, teams still stuck in manual and spreadsheet workflows.
AI has changed who gets to build software. The definition of "developer" now includes analysts, operators, and domain experts creating solutions directly—and the tools they reach for are multiplying by the week. That's both an opportunity and a challenge: as more people build with more AI tools, the risk of shipping ungoverned software into production grows just as fast.
At Retool, we're building the platform that makes all of it safe to ship. Build with any AI tool you want, then deploy into one place that connects to your real business data, enforces enterprise policies automatically, and lets teams create once and reuse everywhere with shared, trusted components. The cost of building software has collapsed. The cost of governing it hasn't—and that's the problem we solve.
Developers and domain experts have already automated over 100 million hours of work on our platform, freeing them to focus on creative problem-solving and strategic work that drives real business value. The people closest to the problem can now build the software to solve it, safely, and within enterprise guardrails.
Let's build the future together.
WHY WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU
In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of hiring high-impact talent across technical teams. As Retool continues to grow and power mission-critical tools for some of the world’s biggest and best teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping the people who build the tools that drive our customers’ success.
You’ll partner closely with technical leaders to lead full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing, and pipeline strategy through closing candidates. You’ll develop a deep understanding of Retool’s product, customers, and vision, and translate that into a compelling story for candidates. Along the way, you’ll bring best practices to hiring, iterate on what’s working, and use data and metrics to guide decisions and surface risks early.
Beyond managing pipelines, you’ll act as a trusted and strategic thought partner to hiring managers at varying stages of growth. You’ll help them define roles, calibrate talent, and build teams that can scale effectively—ultimately ensuring the organization has the people it needs to execute on Retool’s ambitious goals.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
The Talent team at Retool is small, collaborative, and highly impactful. Recruiting has been a team sport here, and we’re proud of the recruiting-forward culture we’ve built across the company. We’re a diverse bunch with a variety of backgrounds: some of us come from outside tech, others from long careers in it. We’re a slightly sarcastic, dedicated, and hard-working group, who values curiosity, candor, and kindness (matcha and GIFs included). We’re excited to grow our team with people who want to help shape both our culture and how we work.
