The Research Associate (Operations & Support) plays a key role in coordinating research activities, managing data operations, and ensuring smooth execution of research projects. This role involves supporting project design, data collection, analysis, documentation, and administrative coordination between research, product, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Research Operations
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of research projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure research milestones and deliverables are met on time.
- Maintain research documentation, protocols, and records according to organizational and compliance standards.
- Assist in preparing study proposals, progress reports, and presentations for internal and external review.
Data & Analysis
- Collect, organize, and validate research data from multiple sources.
- Assist in performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis using tools like Excel, R, SPSS, or Python (as applicable).
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security throughout the research lifecycle.
- Prepare data summaries, charts, and visualizations to support research findings.
Operational Support
- Manage scheduling, logistics, and administrative tasks related to ongoing research activities.
- Support procurement, documentation, and coordination required for experiments, surveys, or data collection.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with IT, HR, or procurement teams as needed.
- Contribute to developing and refining operational processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Documentation & Reporting
- Draft technical reports, research summaries, and documentation for publication or internal reference.
- Prepare weekly or monthly operational and research progress updates.
- Ensure all documentation meets ethical and regulatory standards (where applicable).
Collaboration
- Work closely with senior researchers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Communicate effectively across departments to align research and operational priorities.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, or reviews to support continuous learning and improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Science, Engineering, Social Science, Economics, or related disciplines).
- 1–3 years of experience in research coordination, data operations, or analytical support roles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, or data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, or SPSS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
