Owns the architecture, optimization, and operations of SLURM workload orchestration across heterogeneous HPC and AI environments. The role manages scheduling policies, GPU resources, Kubernetes and container integrations, observability, automation, and multi-tenant performance. It resolves complex infrastructure and workload failures, leads global technical initiatives, establishes orchestration standards, and mentors engineers. The position bridges traditional scientific computing with cloud-native AI infrastructure across Roche’s research and engineering environments.

Owns and supports global production infrastructure platforms for regulated banking applications. Designs, tests, and upgrades complex systems; troubleshoots production issues; automates operations with scripting and tools; supports cloud migrations, CI/CD, monitoring, container platforms, and resilience/recovery efforts in a 24/7 environment.

Lead and advise life sciences clients on end-to-end digital application programs. Define architectures, NFRs, and technical designs; drive cloud-native, microservices, and DevSecOps delivery; estimate and plan large programs; build and mentor cross-functional teams; contribute to practice development and go‑to‑market initiatives.

You will be a founding member of the Observability team, building and integrating observability platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability of products.
