Serve as Coinbases primary in-house counsel for securities class actions and shareholder derivative suits: oversee pleadings, discovery, motions, experts, and settlements; manage outside counsel; advise senior leadership and the board on litigation risk, corporate governance, disclosure, and D&O insurance matters.

Second-in-command for Coinbase Derivatives' Market Regulation Department. Lead end-to-end drafting, negotiation, and execution of complex payments and fintech commercial agreements. Provide business-centric legal advice, build scalable playbooks, partner cross-functionally, manage a high-volume deal pipeline, and coordinate with specialists and outside counsel to resolve novel regulatory and commercial issues.

Provide legal counsel to product, engineering, and design teams for stablecoins, payments, and crypto infrastructure across product lifecycle. Advise on U.S. and international payments and securities laws, resolve novel legal risks, partner cross-functionally, and build scalable legal processes and playbooks to enable compliant product launches.
