Serve as Coinbases primary in-house counsel for securities class actions and shareholder derivative suits: oversee pleadings, discovery, motions, experts, and settlements; manage outside counsel; advise senior leadership and the board on litigation risk, corporate governance, disclosure, and D&O insurance matters.

Second-in-command for Coinbase Derivatives' Market Regulation Department. Lead day-to-day regulatory compliance for the CFTC-registered DCM, manage examinations and audits, advise on CFTC Core Principles, oversee escalated trade surveillance enforcement decisions, and coordinate cross-functional regulatory workstreams.

Provide advanced litigation paralegal support for a high-volume, multi-jurisdiction docket: manage matter tracking and calendaring, execute discovery and trial prep (document production, depositions, exhibits), respond to third-party legal requests, handle small claims matters, coordinate with outside counsel and agencies, and build process/tooling improvements to scale the litigation team.
