Leads Samsara’s globally distributed Core Infrastructure team and owns strategy across compute, networking, storage, cloud systems, reliability, and efficiency. The manager develops engineers, drives modernization and complex technical initiatives, improves capacity management, observability, incident response, disaster recovery, and safe rollouts, and builds automation and self-service infrastructure. The role also partners with engineering and security leaders, applies AI-enabled workflows, and hires and develops an inclusive, high-performing team.

Translate customer insights into full-stack solutions while bridging firmware and software development. Establish success metrics, drive adoption, and use AI-enabled prototyping to accelerate product iteration.

Lead Samsara’s enterprise vulnerability management and application security programs across cloud, firmware/IoT, and corporate systems. Set technical direction, build scalable automation, reduce remediation time, guide engineering teams, mentor security engineers, investigate critical vulnerabilities, communicate risk, and support incident response. The role requires extensive cloud and security experience, programming proficiency, AWS expertise, vulnerability management tooling knowledge, SAST/DAST/SCA expertise, and practical AI/LLM use in security workflows.

Develop and scale joint marketing programs with insurance and OEM partners. Responsibilities include go-to-market strategy, co-branded campaigns, launches, events, webinars, customer stories, thought leadership, seller enablement, partner communications, and performance measurement. The role collaborates across sales, product marketing, demand generation, events, customer marketing, communications, and operations to drive partner engagement, pipeline, and product adoption. It also establishes scalable playbooks and processes while managing multiple stakeholders.

Design and build cloud governance platforms enforcing IAM guardrails, security controls, compliance requirements, and software supply-chain protections across AWS and GCP. Develop reliable distributed systems, automate continuously enforced controls, maintain SAST, DAST, and secure CI/CD tooling, and collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, and Product Engineering teams. Contribute to technical roadmaps, communicate design tradeoffs, and mentor teammates through reviews and collaboration.

Lead design and development of core GenAI platform capabilities and scalable backend services to power multi-step AI workflows, model execution, and integrations. Build shared APIs/execution patterns, ensure reliability and extensibility, collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams, and operationalize production-grade GenAI systems across the organization.

Supports the VP of Customer Success as a strategic operator and trusted partner. Responsibilities include managing calendars and communications, coordinating complex domestic and international travel, handling stakeholder relationships, tracking expenses and action items, organizing meetings and executive events, and driving cross-functional special projects. The role requires discretion, sound judgment, strong communication, scalable process-building, Pacific Time availability, and monthly travel.
